Prayer Don't Change Things

Growing up in the church, I always heard someone say..."Prayer Changes Thangs".

There are a lot of things about prayer we don't understand.

The one thing most of us know, prayer is a way of connecting to our God Source. Connecting to a higher source bigger than us.

Some of the questions I have had in the past are, how should we pray, what should we say when we pray and the most often question was, why aren't some of my prayers answered?

I'm going to share with you some of the things I have learned on my path. After I'm done, maybe you can share some ways you have experienced as well...we are in this together!

First off, there is no set technique to connect to the divine or universal source or whatever you choose to call it. I will just give you some of the ways that have worked for me.

  • Always Give Gratitude

It is crucial to highlight the significance of expressing gratitude rather than harboring a pessimistic attitude.

If someone approached you with a demanding attitude, expecting you to fulfill a favor, would you still be willing to help? You are more inclined to assist someone humble and appreciative.

Giving gratitude shifts your vibration to align with receiving.

  • Pure Intentions

Approach the sanctuary of your heart with sincere motives. Abide by the spiritual principles that form the basis of our beliefs.

We need to connect with the source... I refer to it as Source, but you can call it Spirit or anything else...the most important is to approach with sincerity...open to receiving any guidance that Source may have for you.

  • Visualize

You need to understand what you are aiming to achieve.

Seeing the bigger picture is crucial. Engaging with inspirational blogs, practicing meditation, and connecting with nature all play a vital role in achieving the desired outcomes of your prayers. Sometimes, we tend to fixate too much on the present circumstances, even during prayer. Maintain a positive mindset!

Ultimately, PRAYER CHANGES US AND CLEANS

OUR SOULS. I think that is the goal.
